Difference between the Esx and Esxi ? Esx is a full weight hypervisor. Esx is tailed with the rhel kernal and console,Vmkernal. Esx is console operation system (COS). Esx install third party tool through the RHEL Console :-  Firewall. Esx total size is 760MB Code. By default the console is hidden we need to enable the console. Esxi is a light weight Hypervisor. Esxi total size is 360 MB code. Restart and Shutdown Fast,Install Fast & Boot Fast. No firewall  Aftter 4.1 they slide changed the console is opened.
